On April 1st, I chopped off at least 12 inches of hair!  And it wasn’t an April Fools joke!  After 2+ years, it was time to donate!  Well, actually, Mom *finally* gave me a gift certificate to cut my hair so that’s why I made the appointment haha.  Yes, I’m cheap and I rely on Christmas or birthday gifts to receive my annual hair cut gift certificate.  Good ol mom!  :)

I must say, my head feels sooooo much lighter and it’s a jiffy to wash and dry my hair.

The difficult part now, is to figure out whom to donate the hair to.  There are several places to donate hair, but I heard some unsettling things about Locks of Love.  How true it is, I’m not sure, but I would like to think the hair I donate will actually be put to good use.  I shall continue my research, but perhaps, I’ll give Wigs 4 Kids a try!

One of my goals for 2017 is to do more charitable things.  We always donate clothes and household items, but aside from that, I want to actively do more good!  Donating my hair is a start!  Hopefully by the end of this year, I’ll have a whole list of charitable things/events I participated in.
