My name is Kathy and my puppy is a poop eater!  Ewwwww!  She used to eat it before and then stopped, so I thought I was in the clear… BUT she started it up again!  Don’t let her cute little face fool you!

Yes, Luna girl, it is less for me to clean when you clean up your own mess.  I do appreciate that; however, I do not like poop kisses!

I’ve been reading up on all the different sites about why puppies do this, how to kick it and how to prevent it from continuously happening.  There are so many sources with different explanations and remedies; my head is about to combust!  It is information overload for my tiny brain.

But something must be done!  The easiest solution that I have on hand at this moment is pumpkin!  Yes, pumpkin!  Libby to the rescue!  Apparently, it smells good going down, but coming out the other end is a whole different story!

Today was test #1 for pumpkin – a scoop mixed in with her breakfast and we’ll see the outcome when I get home from work!  Hopefully we see a pile of poop instead of brown streaks with no poop piles.  Fingers crossed!

If you do not see another post about my puppy eating poop, then it means Libby was a success!
